I was going to post this in my other thread but I felt it was deserving of its own. So yesterday I finally finished tweaking my bumper install that I kicked off last weekend. It was a real PITA getting everything up to par. Here's a few things I ran into: Problem: Holes on bumper did not line up with holes on frame mounts. Solution: With body mount bolts loose on one side ...

So I went into this installation figuring it would be problem free, but I can even get the bumper to mount to the brackets. With the bumper placed right in the center of the Jeep my mounting holes look like this: Like the instructions said, I've left the mounting plate bolts untightened. What am I doing wrong here?

Anyone have one of these? http://www.omix-ada.com/images/item/normal/11250.0 6.jpg It straps to the roll bars. Not sure how tall it is though. I'm looking for something like this that will keep the cargo area wide open, but still allow for some storage of tools and things. Been looking at some of the ATV packs that are out there. But they're either too large or too small to fit ...

Ive only found one post with no answer and cant get in contact with the person who posted. Has anyone else ran into this problem and found a solution. I am lifted 4.5 inches and trac bar is adjusted to its smallest length. Im thinking about cutting it down an about an inch along with the knuckle. Any insight would be helpful

I have the RR 7" flares. I like a clean Jeep I know most folks don't give a hoot. Installation was easy with included replacement hardware. They flex when pushed against 'things' and really keep the crap under the Jeep. At some angles they look goofy, but they function perfectly. 7" Rugged Ridge with 315/75R16 on the stock Moabs with 1.25" spacers: They truly do a great job ...

It looks like that rugged ridge has some of the same characteristics as the smittybilt brand. Same solenoid box, actuator. Different engage knob though. May have subbed out the same manufacturer to create their stuff, if so, it may not be that bad.
