Anyone running these lifters? I installed 1 as a replacement and I have a ticking noise which doesnt seem to be rocker related. Using a long screwdriver up to my ear, it sounds like its coming from the lower intake, not the valve cover. I've checked all the rockers preload several times. I measured the lifter every which way possible and its exactly the same. Are these lifters known to ...

I have tried to get a correct answer on this and have given up the regular way (Internet search), It´s like 50% seems to think it´s working just perfect and the rest agree that´s not recommended?. Have also read that one some grinds of Hydraulic rollers it will work fine and on others grinds not?. Have also read that it should be OK as long as you set lash tighter?. Reasong...

I could see were maybe with an aggressive cam the lobe may encounter the body of the lifter as it is moving across the roller. Has anyone had any problem with ...

Talked to their tech. about them for use on street/strip setups. He said to run them at 0 to .005 lash hot,and there should be no problems with beating any valve train parts up. I guess the limited .012 travel soaks up some of the lash, like a solid roller lash ramp? Basically like running a low spring pressure solid roller cam? Right now I think I have an issue with a collapsing lifter,as one...

In something with only a 6700 RPM redline, I dont know if the power gains would be worth it to switch to a dedicated SR setup? If all i need is lifters to give this a shot, i think its worth a try. _________________

I've been looking at these, I am sure they are CAT made. linkbars lifters for $200 http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...K%3AMEWAX%3 AIT I have a buddy with a spintron at his shop, I would sure test these for a couple of hours at 150lb seat to see if they will holdup to racing. They claim to have a warranty http://www.catpep.com/application%20...NTY%202008. pdf
