There was a recessed light above the shower that was not I/C rated. It turned on the same time the vent fan was turned on. I removed the bulb and covered up the hole with some Greenboard drywall. I cannot reach the light fixture in the attic to save my life as it is installed all the way back to where the soffit are on the other side of the wall. My question is, can I now cover the fixture ...

The plenum for the furance/a.c. is located in a vented crawl space of my home. It is supported by the floor joists. I was able to insulate under the bottome and most of the sides and ends with Reflectix insulation. However due to condensation drain pipe and other running pipes, I cannot get the Reflectix on the top. My question is: Can I run R-19 insulation into the joists cavitiy (which I ...

I have a gas furnace which has a fan that runs auto every two hours. I notice no air movement at all. Should there be some sort of air circulation or if not what is the purpose of the fan running? Thanks in advance....
