http://petitions.num.../rentersrights/ Please sign the petition above, I feel this is an issue that needs to be addressed, as you are all aware the way that landlords can dictate the way that you live No Pets etc. is ridiculous, I believe that the only stipulation should be that the property is returned in the same condition as when the tenancy started, Why should they be able to dictate ...

My former landlord is trying to screw me out of my $4600 deposit by claiming I did damage which I didn't do. Are there organizations in West Hollywood that help tenants? Thanks, DK

I am fed up with landlord feeling they can control the way I live. I think that Renters should be given more rights and while it may not make that much difference, I just needed to do something that would ease my annoyance. Please sign my petition at http://petitions.num.../rentersrights. Many Thanks

This morning I woke up and there was a gas smell in my house. So, I called the gas company and there was a leak somewhere in the piping. They turned the gas off and I had call my landlord to get a plummer out. He came out and spent hours trying to find the leak, needless to say I wont have gas until tomorrow at the earliest, if the city approves it. I have no hot water and no way to cook ...

This morning my landlord called to inform me that she is upset that the house i rent from her is messy. It seems while i'm out of town all week, she had someone go into the house to change the filter on the furnace and he decided to tell her about the pile of dishes in the sink. This was the first time i knew someone was going to be in the house. This has kinda got me worried now. I've got ...

My wife and I have rented an apartment for two years and over the weekend we made an offer on a townhome in a different community. Our closing date for our new property is Monday November 2nd. Our lease expired on our rental a few months back and we did not sign a new lease with our landlord. The way I understand it is that by paying rent every month we have been going on a month to ...

Hello, We are renters and have a watering system which is supposed to water every 2 days. My landlord is fanatical about his garden and recently told me he was here to "fix" the watering system. He tinkered with it for about a half hour and now it is watering every single day and we have to pay the bill. I emailed them about it and have had no response from them so today I disabled it ...
