I am watching "Buying & Selling: 20 Best Kept Secrets" and am learning some surprising things. According to one of the experts, the most you can hope to recoup from remodeling a kitchen before selling is 85% of what you put out. So it is always a net loss when selling your home. And yet they recommended doing it, which is puzzling.
