remington 870 police shotgun - online discussion summary

Remington 870 Police. This shotgun comes with an 18" bead-sighted barrel, extended mag tube that can hold 7 rounds in the tube. (Standard 870s can only hold 6, this is a custom mag extension, spring, and follower). Again THIS 870 HOLDS 7+1 SHOTGUN SHELLS. Gun is in excellent condition with very littue use. Located in San Luis Obispo, Ca. $550 obo.

In a SHTF - I've always said one needs TWO guns. One 12g Shotgun, and a handgun - your choice semi or wheel gun. You really need two. But a wooden Mossberg 12g pump and Ruger GP100 357 or a Remington Police 870 and G19 - doesn't matter. I'd feel very secure with either of those combos. But I'm really trying to stay home in SHTF, so I find the SG more useful overall.

I have a remington 870 police and a norinco copy. I love the remington. Much better built and not as sloppy as a mossburg. The mossburg is a quality shotgun and reliable, but just feels lose and sloppy to me. I think the mossburg will last years. For me it will be remington. I already know that I wont wear one out in my life time. I teach with mine it get weekly use.
