Quote: Brass is much more forgiving off these types of stretching and flexing processes than steel, without becoming brittle. In fact steel has a far higher fatigue threshold than brass does b4 it gets brittle, I have reloaded steel case with no problems, like jc, just to see if it would work. I found I had to take the neck expander button out of ...

I purchased my first EBR two years ago, as I converted a 16” x39 Saiga into the PG config. Saiga rilfes, manufactured by Izmash in Russia, are highly regarded as among the best semi-auto Kalashnikov action rifles on the America market today. The conversion was a lot of fun and gets one intimately familiar with the rifles construction. Then a year ago, I got the bug again and put together ...

I guarantee that Congress will vote to reinstate the so-called assault weapons ban in the first two years. I doubt domestic ammunition will be regulated any differently. However, it may get taxed like cigarettes sending the prices out of the budget of most shooters. It is possible foreign imports may get regulated or banned. The liability legislation will certainly be introduced and it ...

JVC GR-D347U MiniDV camcorder, in like new condition with box. Comes with charger, A/V cables, 1x new MiniDV tape, and carrying case. This is a palm sized/compact camcorder, and is in top-notch condition. Camcorder is less than 2 years old, and probably has less than 10 hours of use on it. I have lost the manual, but it is available online. $135 shipped (USPS MO or PayPal) or trades for:...

Hi everyone, I think this is my first post in this section. I'm very new to reloading, and will be loading 9mm, .380, and 7.62x39 for now. I've got all the components for 9mm on hand, so I'm starting with that. I just got my Lee Classic Turret set up, and I'm trying to figure this thing out. So far, in addition to spilling a few primers and a bit of powder, I've figured out how to prime a ...

I recently purchased some 7.62X39 ammo that is brass rather than steel, but uses Berdan primers and is sold as "corrosive." My question is: is the brass worth saving for reloading purposes or is there some factor that supercedes reuse?

Quote: (two different types at least, one for the garand, one for the savage) I'm not a mind reader, but I'd guess your .30-30 is a savage from your original post. Anyway, the die resizes the brass as the press forces it into the die. The die is adjustable (a little) so you can get the correct headspace. (Use the THR Library to look this...

I got smitten again with shotguns after having been into rifles and pistols for the last 10-14 years. I used to shoot alot of 12 ga but my former gun buddies and I dropped out of it along time ago. Any last year I got a rossi youth matched pair .22 lr and .410. I've set that up as a combo back pack rifle and survival gun with a compete survival kit in the but stock and a multitool in the forearm...
