Firefox browser getting redirected during google searches

I am having trouble when using the Firefox browser and google searches. When the google search returns items and I click on the link, I am redirected to completely different sites or advertisements. The performance of the browser and my entire computer seems slow. I have run Trend scan and eAcceleration. While these programs did find some malware, removing these items did not solve the problem....

Searches on Google redirected to random sites. Please help!!

Hi, My searches on Google are being redirected to random sites. I have tried to clean my computer with malwarebytes, spyware doctor, windows defender very unsuccessfully. My Google and Yahoo Searches are being redirected.

Generally I just run Hijack This is pull it out piece by piece and let the registry cleaner and Mal-ware Bytes take care of the rest.
