I got my new PC this week and the sound is onboard Realtek. My old PC had realtek AC97 onboard but I never had any sound problems with it. This one has Realtek High Definition Audio onboard sound. As soon as I got in car I realised I had the usual onboard sound GPL problem so I did the usual fix of reducing acceleration etc. which did fix the problem. But I was not happy with this ...

I've bought some logitech LS21 speakers which are 2.1 (i.e. left and right speakers with a subwoofer). I have an onboard realtek soundcard through my Asus barebones, which has a sound manager application which has the asus logo on. This has no option for 2.1, only for 2 channel or 5.1, 6.1 and 7.1. Hi there I have the above driver installed on my computer. I also have band in a box installed but do not get any sound from the band in a box. When I go to the options tab it does not show the realtek driver only Microsoft GS Wavetable.
