The driver downloaded from the Elitegroup website came up with an error code (i can get it if need be). it was something like realtek driver version 1.9. ( Hi, I am trying to implement rfkill support for realtek driver for rtl8192e. The realtek driver we are using is very much similar to the one in kernel 2.6.31.5\(linux-2.6.31.5/drivers/staging/rtl8192su \). In order to use "wiphy_rfkill_set_hw_state", I need "struct wiphy" which in turn is a part of "ieee80211_hw" structure. However ieee80211_hw is not used in our ...

Hi. I installed 7 on release day, but when I installed the realtek HD drivers (aledgedly a windows 7 compatible driver) I only got audio from the lefthand channel. It's definatley not a hardware issue as both channels play fine on XP. Anybody know where I can find the correct driver?

I recently updated to Windows 7 64-bit after using XP 32-bit for years. Previously I was using the Realtek driver HD 5.10.0.5506, audio codec ALC883, and the sounds levels were fine. However since moving to Windows 7, and downloading the most recent 2.35 HD driver, the volume levels have been very inconsistent. When a loud part of a track plays for instance, the levels dips a lot. Once it reaches...

Hello all, I just bought a new MSI Wind the other day, and began (what was for me) a very long and tedious process of getting 10.5.4 installed on it. I used the WindOSx86 version, and then tried to install the following driver: "Realtek_RTL8187SE_MacOS10.5_Driver_073_UI_1.6.2" So I install it, it restarts my Wind, and then I go into System Preferences > Network. The only thing ...

I recently purchased a new computer and started the build around an MSI 790FX-GD70 motherboard. The mb came with a driver install disc on which I found drivers for Realtek High Definition Audio, which I installed. Now I have no sound. If I go to Control Panel->System->Hardware->Device Manager I see both ATI Function Driver for High Definition Audio and Realtek High Definition Audio, as well...

The ATI function driver is for your video card. You likely have one of the new ATI cards with HDMI output. The Realtek driver is your actual audio chipset driver. Try removing it using Add and Remove programs, reboot, and install it again. You may also want to look for a newer driver on the MSI website.
