I can still control volume through the task bar icon in the bottom right but the volume control buttons on my keyboard and headset no longer work Can any help me?

OK, I know this isn't a real PC group but generally the people here are more knowledgeable. ;-) I was given a PC with an abit IP35 Pro MB with Realtek Audio which works in every respect expect there isn't any sound from any output. I'm running XP with SP3 and, yes, all the volume controls are all the way up, nothing is muted, and the speakers work fine on the PC sitting right next to it....

Windows 7 and Realtek Audio Hi, i have windows 7 on a tx2 . All is working fine, except the new realtek audio driver from hp for windows 7. I cannot install this driver. Has anybody this driver successfully installed?

I installed an optional windows update vista 64bit earlier today. Then I noticed I was getting no sound later. When I unplug my speakers from my laptop sound plays over the laptop's built in speakers. Also when I insert headphones into the laptop sound does not play through them either. Any ideas? thanks

I woke up with my father telling me that the audio for our pc is no longer working. I'm clueless about a fix. I've tried updating the driver with nothing showing up. The rollback doesn't work. My existing audio driver is Conexant and I want to replace it with realtek driver coz the sound was not that good. Zojuist gedownload, vanavond even proberen (zit nu op m'n werk). Maar kun jij, als je op zo'n jack in de audio manager dubbelklikt, 'm dan reassignen? Eventueel als je de auto detection ervan uitzet? (Dat kon ik namelijk wel als ik front panel detection disablede bij de jacks van het front panel)
