i get 10% of the radio reception i once did with my stock head unit. now i got a ddx7019 and very happy with it except i cant even listen to the radio anymore? i upgraded and bought a different antenna but it only improved it slightly. any ideas?? when the radio does come in its in and out and always sorta staticy. i dunno??

Hello guys! In my car I have a Pinnacle PCTV 110i (which is media center compatible) and the card has an integrated FM tuner. My question is, how do you access the controls of it? My guess is that there must be a type library somewhere to allow it, since many cards can interact out of the box with Windows Media Center or generic tuners in Linux... Anybody ever tried to control an FM ...

I'm looking for a cheap, no-frills HD Radio tuner with the best durability I can get from the budget echelon. This Sony Model seems to stand out, but I'm not sure whether or not to seriously consider the negative reviews (on a site like newegg for example, one can expect to see negative reviews for just about anything). Any advice or comments would be welcome. Thanks!

Spearmint, You might like to consider this .....an Audio In-Line attenuator for your CD player, this may save your selling an otherwise excellent tuner. A -6db attenuator should drop the output voltage of the CD player to half (depending on the input impedance of the preamp). Anyway it's a thought. Yes, there is a powered signal amplifier for the factory antenna. You need to find the correct wire and restore 12v power to it. Luckily, I knew about the amp before I began my install. I would have been frustrated as well. __________________ ...
