RVGRINGO, why convert anything to quarts when
hypermilers measure real fuel economy in litres per 100 kilometers ? There are 4.5 litres in an Imperial gallon and 3.8 litres in a US gallon. Ergo, my 2005 smart cdi is getting slightly under 5 litres per 100 kilometers on average with my best around 4litres/100km. The diesel smart still has the best fuel economy by far measured any way you like ...
