I have been incorporating Power Cleans in my workout routine once a week. I separate the workout days by body parts. I would like to know what specific body parts the Power Clean targets. Preferably, I'd like to know what the main muscle worked is (ex. lats, middle back, lower back) and what any other muscles are worked in this exercise.

Hey guys, so I am going to a new gym today I am working on my form today, My squat is alot better, My DL alright... But I have never power cleaned with a bar bell before I always used dumbbells.. Theres so much to use a bar bell from the gym to the changing the grip at the top.....Can some one help me out, I been watching like 30 videos on you tube but I can't seem to get it down(using no bar) ...

Can anyone suggest a routine to improve power cleans? I usualy do 4 sets of 4 reps, and change the weights every week according to this percentage , week 1 - 75%, week 2 - 90% and week 3 I try to do 1 rep max. I also found out that hang cleans and high pulls are used to improve the power clean but I need an advice in how to add them to my workout routine. My best clean and overhead press is ...

Where do you place the bar on your shoulders in the middle of the clean and jerk lift? I'm having quite a lot of trouble finding the spot :/ Pics would be awesome. Thanks!

I'll try my best- Start out in a deadlift stance. Don't rip the bar off the ground explosively, just pull at a steady rate. Once it's about even with your knees, explode upwards. Shrug with your traps, jump with your legs, and whip your elbows around beneath the bar. DO NOT bend your elbows until you absolutely have to. When the arm bends, the power ends. Good luck!
