Been with sprint a few years. Just got the Sprint HTC HERO phone and it wont let me add my Yahoo mail account because it wants the POP server settings. I got the settings from some website online but my phone keeps rejecting them saying authentication failed....

I have an E75. When using Nokia Messaging on my phone, I am able to delete emails from my POP account.......at least it looks that way. Later, when I access my POP account using my computer, the emails are still there. Does anyone know how I can fix this problem?

I tried to convert from Eudora to Thunderbird several times in the last few years. Each time, I reverted back to Eudora because I couldn't delete individual messages from sever. I check emails at work and at home. I prefer to keep important emails in both places and remove others after reading. I understant that someone has requested this feature back in 2003 but I couldn't locate an answer.

can't forward audio/video attachments using plus.smtp.mail.yahoo.com / pop 3 yahoo mail service... unless the file sizes are minuscule. server keeps terminating connection after a couple of minutes while forwarding the message. I have a broadband connection. Anyone know why this is happening ?

If you would rather have IMAP support for Windows Live Hotmail you could try mBox Mail for Mac. There is also a nice version for the iPhone. For Windows users you could try out http://download.live.com/wlmail

Thank you for this post! I can confirm as well that this indeed works! I have a new 2008 R2 server (DC) running Exchange 2010, and this is what helped me get past that horrid error. For me, the key was to look through my certificates until I found the one that had the thumbprint code that matched what was in the error message, and then move that certificate to the Trusted Root Certification ...
