I started a new post in September and have now found out that my current school are not sure if I am on the right payscale. If you know about these things please advise me. My bursar does not seem too clued up (she told me NQT means Not Qualified Teacher and that the year after your NQT year you should be paid MPS1) Year 1: I did a GTP (Paid at £18, 000) Year 2: I did PPA cover and...

These are the things they never teach you in University... so in deciding between taking either 1 job or 2 jobs, I totally forgot to ask about payscale. I've called back and the principal is to return my call. I feel dumb that I didn't ask this earlier but the whole time I was only thinking about the opportunity. Now I awkwardly need to bring it up.... Advice??

Hey, just thought I'd share this website if people haven't heard of it. Shows you if you're being paid well for your job, how much you should ask for in a job interview etc. Kinda interesting - I'm getting paid the same as my last job, but a different job title, so now I'm being paid really well for the work that I'm doing apparently!

I think if things stay as is in both orgs......once fighters get a taste of non-exclusive contracts....they wont go back to the ufc.....strikeforce will get bigger, and the payscale will truely compete......I expect this to happen for a few reasons..... 1. Fighters from the same camp wont fight eachother.....so if there buddy is the champ, they might choose to go to another org..... 2. ...

Green Jobs That Make $30 an Hour Carol Tice, PayScale.com, Yahoo! HotJobs Aside from the everyday efforts you make to help the environment, such as recycling or taking the bus, wouldn't it be great if you could be well-paid to help the planet? As it happens, many environmental jobs pay around $30 an hour or more. Fueled in part by massive federal funding for environmental projects included in the...

Oh, by the way, the fact that you are trying to use PAYSCALE.COM to back up your claims of how much money CU makes (and using the statistic poorly, to boot), shows how truly ignorant you are. Payscale.com is a complete joke, with the only real purpose is to trick idiots into thinking they should get more money they they make. A major part of my job is deciding how much money people should make, ...
