I was reading the responses from the other thread and most of them, I think, were from younger guys. So, Id like to know whats on the mind of the older guys in thinking about asking a woman out? At our age, say 40-50ish, would it be someone just to have fun with or someone that you might really consider marrying? Thoughts..??

I am in that age bracket and for me personally I wouldn't bother asking her out unless there might be a possibility of marriage. There are guys in this age bracket who would ask out a woman with no intention of marrying them, but I think this type is fairly easy to pick out...but maybe not for women...other guys can tell real easy....

I wasnt aware that society frowned upon cougars. Theyve been around for a long time but only recently did they gain the title. From everything I've seen and heard, people only support cougars and people talk about empowered strong women and stuff like that.
