"The nondiabetic ordinarily maintains blood sugar immaculately within a narrow range—usually between 80 and 100 mg/dl (milligrams per deciliter), with most people hovering near 85 mg/dl. I've been following Dr. B's recommendations & have had two days with normal numbers. But, I have gastroparesis & this makes it near impossible to achieve a normal range.

I have decided to stop accepting the drug companies current levels for Glucose, BP and TC levels as a 73 years old senior. I have kept copies of my blood work for 15 years and my averages are glucose 126, BP 155/90 and TC 265 and I am still alive without any problems except the statin damage. I have already stopped taking Lovastatin for cholesterol and refused metformin for blood glucose...

Welcome to DD. The only one of those I don't see is the weight loss clinics. I go to enough clinics for me. Pace yourself and try not to get overwhelmed with everything. Do work on keeping your blood glucose levels near normal. That alone will keep you out of clinics in the months and years ahead.
