Hello all, I'm a happy user of NOD32 v4 on my modern PC and am thinking of installing v2.7 on an old PC running Win98SE. It runs all it needs to run quite happily and even though I know 98 is no longer supported etc etc, would like an AV for it. (Or is there a complete security package?). I'd like to know whether v2.7 would be light on resources, give a comparable level of protection...

latest maintenance.. problem with NOD32 its just recently, after my latest update the latest maintenance of FG are being deleted by NOD32... i hope that on the next version of MAINTENANCE this issue will be fixed... thanks alot! br

I had a recent Shockwave update (containing gt.exe, apparently a google Tolbar) being picked up as Trojan by NOD32 on an older PC of mine which doesn't yet have Kaspersky, but this PC is coming up clean on a K scan with the same file on board. Anyone have an issue with this exe? TIA

So on the 16th, I downloaded a suspicious file, which I decided to not open and scan first with nod32 v4. My OS is Windows 7 RC1. Nod32 said "this file is trojan. Unable to clean" As soon as nod32 scanned it (with real time file scanner)... process manager was showing a.exe. nod32 before it stopped even detecting the trojan any longer, said that cngaudit.dll was packed with sirefef.A ...

I Read about the new patch but it seems everytime i open the game/close it the backround downloader doesn't work for me...Any suggestions what might be the problem? i've even disabled temporaly Nod32 but still didn't worked...anyone has issues like that?

Nod32 picks up the smithfraud removal tool in UBCD4Win 3.55 as a virus, I know this tool get's flagged by some AV's. What's weird is the newest version of the smithfraud removal tool doesn't get flagged by NOD32 the one in this package does. Hey guys i've just uninstalled Spyware Doctor as I installed it to remove that pesky Mirar app. I uninstalled it because I thought the IntelliGuard might conflict with my NOD32 real-time protection. I was wondering if just using add/remove programs to remove it is suitable to restore the gaps in my armour? Thanks :D

Since renewing my antivirus subscription with ESET NOD32 the PC Dashboard reports that I have no antivirus protection on my PC. Any ideas as to what could be wrong? Antivirus program seems to be working fine and is enabled for all protetion options.
