Personally, I detest it. The whole rip-off, cash-in aspect of it, the fact that people celebrate an essentially religious event without being religious at all, and the plastic niceness of people at work giving cards etc. Scrooge, through and through me!

Do you really think people are associating niceness as sexual inadequacy? I think I disagree. With the type of men I describe in the OP, sexual prowess never even enters the equation. When I see a "nice" man I see someone I will have to support and encorage thru the entire relationship because he's needy or lacks confidence or self-esteem.
