My regular vet has a six month wait list. We got our cats from the Humane Society and they did the cats. I know they do dogs too. Has anyone had any experience with them neutering dogs? I would think they have enough experience, should I be worried about going there? Lelly's Bio

Hello, Leo, my very recently adopted 5 year old bluetick coonhound is going in to get neutered in about 2 weeks. Does anyone know what I can expect in the way of his behavior or personality changes resulting from the operation? What is typical? This is us. Thanks, Lauren

Patrick is getting neutered on Monday. Aside from *hopefully* less marking, should I expect to see any other changes in him? (All of my other dogs were altered as puppies, and I'm not sure how it affects older animals.) ~ Happily Married Since 2006 ~

Barclay got neutered a couple months ago. He was in a lot of pain the first night everytime he tried to lay down and get comfortable. We went back and got pain meds for him and the second night was much better, and he didn't need any after that. I'd recommend taking the pills home the first night if they offer them. Our vet said most don't need them, but about 11pm that night I wish I had ...
