I just installed a Netgear Wireless - N150 Router. Two of my three computers recognized it immediately. The third did not, although it connected to the previous router. It operates on Windows XP. Message states: "No wireless networks were found in range. Make sure wireless switch on your computer is on." The Netgear tech support person tried a few things, then said the problem must be with ...

I have installed Fedora 11 on a friends daughter's laptop because Windows locked up. The system has a Netgear wireless router hooked to a desktop running XP. Fedora works when hooked to the DSL cable but does not work with the wireless system though it did with Vista on it. Every time I check, the device monitor says the NIC is inactive and I can't activate manually. Any suggestions?

I purchased a netgear WG111GE (also known as WG111V3) adapter and was assured that it would work in Windows 7. It does but only eand in a random fashion, most of the time I get no connetcion but every now and then it seems to come to life of its own accord and finds my wireless network. I cannot find any advice on either the Netgear or Microsoft sites. Has anybody else got this adapter in ...

I can see the wireless network on my ipod touch but when I attempt to join it it says unable to join. My pc is wired to the router and can access the net with no problems when this occurs. The only way I can fix it is by turning the router and modem off and on again which ...

Well, I have a NetGear WGR614v6 Router, and Comcast as my ISP. I had my laptop connected to it before, it worked wonderful. But now it seems to not work good. I unhooked the wireless for about 4 months because I moved to just a desktop. But now, you see I can't stay connected to the wireless for more than 15 minuets with out getting stopped for a little bit. I'm connected to MSN and ...
Ok, so all 3 cannot connect? What did his ISP say. It sounds like a modem problem. Call the ISP and tell them you want a new cable modem. When you hover your mouse over the network icon in the system tray does it say connected local and internet access? Is the cable modem also a router? If so and you have another router connected that may be the problem. Disconnect the router you have setup and ...
