Hi I have just got a Netgear Wireless Modem router DG834G. I want to replace the D-Link that I got from Vodafone when I signed on. Is this easy. What do I need to do. Is it plug and play. I have installed Fedora 11 on a friends daughter's laptop because Windows locked up. The system has a Netgear wireless router hooked to a desktop running XP. Fedora works when hooked to the DSL cable but does not work with the wireless system though it did with Vista on it. Every time I check, the device monitor says the NIC is inactive and I can't activate manually. Any suggestions?

The wireless conection keeps flickering between connected and not connected. the netgear is a wireless usb adapter WG111v2 and that does appear on screen and the computer is running xp home
