Hi I am trying to connect a Belkin 4 port wired router F5D5231uk4 to a Netgear DG834G v3 wireless modem. I've followed the instructions, rebooted both router and modem and PC. I have a NETGEAR DG834G V3 ADSL Modem Router up for sale. It has up to date firmware version V4.01.40 installed and has worked faultlessly on XP & Vista. It has one microfilter, power supply, stand and Ethernet cable and phone line cable. I have reset the router back to factory conditions. So its ready to be set up by new user. It is not in a Netgear Box but a plain white box. See photo....

does anybody have any experiance with this modem I purchased one last year and failed to get it to operate..so its sat on the shelf... my 3g dongle( 3 network) works fine but swap the sim to the netgear and nothing its as if the netgear cant read the sim... Also has any body used one with a high gain or directional antenna? regards Ian H
