Have my WHS up and running backing up 4 home PC's Excellent. Decided to upgrade network to N so chose a DGN2000 router. Set it up same as 834PN and network works perfectly but PC's can nol longer connect to WHS. Cannot figure out why. Suggestions please.

Hi, usually if you change the router, the server receives also a different IP address via DHCP, as the clients do. If all else is correctly configured, you should be able to reconnect by executing C:\Program Files\Windows Home Server\discovery.exe on each client. Squeezebox/netgear dg834pn problem

Hello I have a fairly old Squeezebox that up until I changed the router to a Netgear dg834pn worked fine, changing back to the old modem is not an option ! I have changed nothing on the (linux)server - as access to this this still works via html and softsqueeze. The modem shows that it is connected (in 'attached devices') and allows me to reserve an address using the mac address....

Seems like I have fixed the problem, sort of... I reset the router ip address range to start from 192.168.0.1 instead of 0.100 and it all started working. So the next question is does anyone know how to make my old squeezebox use the addresses it was given by the router (ie 0.106 & 0.104) ? Thx GR

I have this combo for my own setup, i had a few issues early on with the wpn 111, dropping connection and causing the system to freeze, seems to have cleared up now as it hasnt happened in a long time.
