Im buying a new 2010 F150 Crew Cab and am interested in purchasing nerf bars to make entry and exit easier for my wife. The option via the dealer is quite a bit more expensive than the after market options. Also, the dealer option is only chromed and Im seeing many stainless products offered. Are there any recommendations from the community, both which ...

I have a set of Manik Nerf Bars that were bought from an individual and were supposed to be for a Ford F150. They are much too long for a regular size truck and would fit a king or crew cab or maybe a Hummer. I have listed all the measurements so you can check for yourself. If you need more information or other measurements please let me know. Total length about 81", from mounting bracket to ...

I just got my 2010 Tacoma Access Cab with Off Road package. It did not come with a step or side bars. Should I get them installed from the dealer or has anyone done this themselves? Any suggestions for brand or style?

I have a set of Nerf Bars for what I believe are a Honda 450r ....I bought them from a guy thinking who thought they were 2002 400ex (mine) nerf bars...needless to say they dont match up. After some online investigation I found out they were for a 450r based on online pic comparisons. I'd like to get cash but I would be interested in a couple of trades.....a set of nerfs to fit my 2002 ...

Doc built me some sliders and they are awesome. They are built from 1/4" - 4"x4" angle iron with a 3/16" x 6" high plate welded on the back side. The nerf bars are 1.75". They run the full length from wheel well to wheel well. I will be trimming the fenders right at the top of the sliders. Doc has done a great job and I can't wait to paint, trim the fenders and install. I don't own ...

Quote, originally posted by casperfun » Its only availiable in smoke. Yah, the hood deflector thread seemed old and was of no use when I tried the links to buy one of these hood protectors. I think the links to the item were dead or no longer availiable for sale. The AutoFrills.com website is still active. However like rjchoops said, you have to call them directly as it's not ...

^ Ahh, but in the snow that's when they are so worth it. They help getting in without tracking all the snow/mud into the truck. Stand on the nerf bar (not slippery at all) and tap the side of the shoes against the door sill and dump all that snow outside before getting in. My wife uses them for the same purpose and to help her get into the truck ...

I've got westin's, they're worlds better then OEM. The oem are too close to the rocker and you hit your toes making them more or less useless to use, the westin's work much nicer and mount better also, where as the ford ones have multiple brackets to catch salt and road debris the westin only mount at the ends.
