We have a large family and with the budget being tight once I became a SAHM I began giving my aunts and uncles and other extended family cookie trays for Christmas. I always get big thank yous. The first year I did fancy plates, but the following years I used lidded 13x9 disposable trays and added a nice card. I'm in the gift card camp. I wouldn't give a main dish or casserole to anyone... |

With Xmas coming on and people dropping by for dinner, these are dishes I enjoy preparing. Now Gracie and Scout, ya can quit yer drooling, this ain't fer yous!!! My stock standard thick veggie soup- so chunky you could carve it! Tender and Juicy oyster blade steak is my favorite cut. Served with fried onion rings, fresh peas and Tasmanian pink eye potatoes.... |
