Just announced today... DL will not renew the leases on 13 saabs that are up in 2010. This means that a total of 23 saabs will be returned to Saab. This announcement is in ADDITION to the 10 previously announced a few months ago. This brings the fleet to 26 total saab by the end of 2010. Good thing they just spent lots of $$$ refurbishing them. I have my CFI, CFII, and MEI. I flew the Dash 8-200 at Mesa and the Saab 340 at Mesaba. I was furloughed from Mesa in October 2008 and furloughed from Mesaba in August 2009. Now I'm trying to become an air traffic controller.
