I have Dell Precision Workstation 530, and I want to upgrade to 2 x  Xeon 2.7GHz MP. (My motherboard is 03N384.) My question is that Intel Xeon MP CPUs can work in my 03N384 motherboard, because that cpu is MP not DP. You can see the specific spec on the following website(Intel.com). http://processorfinder.intel.com/details.aspx?sSpe c=SL79Z Thank you. Joe.

I made the mistake of thinking you wanted to run Quad CPUs I know the SM P4DCX+ Series can support the 3.0/4MB MPs.

I also did the 5150 upgrade to 5365s on my previous system. It is easy except for the use of an unusual hex key with a long handle.
