K just got this conversion formulas kPa = psi * 6.89476 kg/cm2 = psi * 14.223343 bar = kg/cm2 * 0.980655 so doc 2.4 bars x .980655 = 2.353572 kg/cm2 x 14.223343 = 33.47 psi so i think the table up i posted is not very accurate --- but most of our tire gauges is your conventional gauge -- you cant get the exact psi increments of 1's. digital gauges will be more accurate ...

Just remember that the pressure printed on the tyre is the maximum load pressure. The load (in either lbs or kg) is also usually there. For less weight, reduce the pressure. This is important for the rear if you're riding solo. The book gives different pressure for solo and pillion use for the rear tyre. Rob

If people are supposedly going to be responsible enough to drive a one ton missile around at 70 mph, then they need to be able to perform certain tasks to do so safely. For how many innocent people are killed in "auto accidents" yearly I don't feel inclined to "give people a break" for doing...

Too each his own... but I run my Wife's 900 LT at 40 and 40. We ride longer distances and although she is only 105 lbs we load the bike up some for touring. All in all..... she got 12k rear on original Dunlop, replace on a trip with a Bridestone and it is at 14k but will need replacing soon. Both had middle wear but no cupping or abnormal wear. On the front she got 18K on the ...
