Crappy Tire has Mobil 1 on sale untill Oct 30th -5.5 litres for 35 bucks...I had a hard time finding any left at CT so I got Part Source to price match (just bring in the CT flyer to PartSource -Part Source has a whole bunch because they will be putting it on sale for 40 bucks next week or so))...offer only good until Oct 30th.

Hey guys, I have a Nissan versa 1.8S with 3K miles on it. I just changed the oil, now im using Mobil 1 Synthetic 5W-30, with a mobil 1 filter (M108). I drive a 60/40 highway/city mix, and was wondering if 7.5K/6 months was too long for oil change intervals. Should the oil filter be changed every 3K miles, or will it be fine. Any help is appreciated, thanks!

do i still need friction modifyer for Mobil 1 LS synthetic 75w90 gear oil If i do can i just get a 4 oz bottle from autozone(limited slip additive) or does it have to be the ford racing friction modifyer?

The Mobil 1 synthetic oil & filter for $30 is not a bad deal considering the Mobil 1 filter is like $10 and that last time I bought a case of 6 qts of synthetic at Costco it was like $32. I might have to pick that up for my wifes Acura TL. I use Mobil 1 on all my guns. Seems to work fine. I also use engine assembly lube for grease on my guns. I think it works as well as anything.
