I'm in search of a easy to understand knit mitten pattern. The pattern that I have is called "double thick mitten" I'm trying to work it out, but this is an old type writer pattern and I'm not sure if it's all here or not.

My first mitten pattern and I can't figure it out. I am at the section where you put stitches aside for the thumb. This is sheep shop yarn company pattern #019. I am making these mitts and ran into a problem. I checked the ravelry pages where others have made these and nobody listed a typo or anything in the pattern so I must have done something wrong. I'm up to the instructions where it says "Knit 7 rounds plain." and I did that. As I said in my first post..the pattern that I have is very old and was done with an old type writer so I didn't know if all the pattern was there or not. My pattern is call "double thick mitten".
