I had Mirena coil fitted nearly 4 months ago and am still getting constant bleeding - not as bad as a period, just spotting, but all the time! Has anyone else had similar problem? Iv had mirena for 6months now, i recently have had horrible pains, so bad that at times i cant breath, well today i starte bleeding BRIGHT red so i put in a tampon well a few hours later i took it out and there was nothing on it, well i peed and then started bleeding Bright red again.. idk why this is happening.. any advice?

You will get bleeding when its first put in. It usually takes around six weeks for it to settle down worst case scenario six months. After a year lot of women say they have no period at all. i would prsiveer but if your side effects are really bad like extreme depression or the likes then fight to get it removed as it really isnt worth it. all the best Diableret
