As previously discussed, the size P225/65R/16 is a pain in the butt to find. Anyone tried the Uniroyal Tiger Paw AS65 ? They're new so no reviews online but they're almost CAN $400 cheaper than the Michellin Primacy MXv4. I can't find anyother all season tire with this size.

There is the Nokian WRG2 SUV in that size... Tires By Web lists them for US$188 a tire. Also, is there any reason a 15" or 16" wheel won't clear your brakes? If it's a 2005, Tire Rack lists 215/70R16 as an acceptable downsize. I don't know that you'd actually want to order from Tire Rack, due to being in Canada, but they list US$488 for the cheapest snows and steel wheels they list, mounted and ...

My Buick actually reports the tire pressure in each wheel. Never got such a report on the TC 05, but it may be able to give such a report, I don't know. But if you are looking for aftermarket, you can probably pick the one your want. I saw a couple on the internet, not terribly expensive, when you divide out the cost of rolling a car over from a blowout. I could easily have had one on my 90 GC. ...

Today I had new Michelin X's put on my van at Sam's. The factory Michelins had 37,500 mi on them and could have been pushed through the winter, but they were getting low on tread at the edges and I didn't want to push them. I have only noticed the new Michelins and my factory Michelins getting noisy on grooved concrete. They are silent on asphalt. 37,500 mi is ok to me for factory tires. My ...

It's not a wagon, its not a SUV. It's simply a cool "whatizit" Pontiac failed "whatizit" with the Azitek. It is a MINIVAN chopped, channeled, remove the sliding side doors, add bigger brakes and tires, huge wheel openings. Make the roof line styled like a coupe and still have all the leadroom and side room. V6 3.5l 0-60 in under 7 seconds is also VERY respectable. My inlaws have a ...
