I'm trying to train more 'old skool', so squats (6 sets), stiff leg deadlifts, etc... The massive squat session worked amazingly! I'm looking to apply the same for shoulders. Which do you guys think is better: Barbell press VS Dumbell press Both would be 8-12 reps for ~4 sets

So this morning I was doing some military press and was wondering if it is any different than simply doing OP. The only difference I could think of is that in OP you could cheat a little by using your legs. What do you guys think?

I can't military press for **** and I can't do overhead barbell presses for ****. But I'm not bad with push presses. I will do push presses, explode the weight up, and then focus on the negative. It kills my shoulders.

Which do you prefer? I prefer seated with dumbells.

Behind Neck Press vs Military Press Is either of these better for size and strength? When I was in the gym I always did standing Mil press. But now I work out at home and have to do them seated, and switched to BNP. I always kinda felt Mil press put a little more emphasis on the front delts since you have to clear your face....

Appears to be a common theme here. LOL Ixnay BNP's! My front delts started to feel overworked so I switched to the BNP a while back, thinking it may have been from benching and mil press. You can mess up your rotator cuff by bringing the bar down to your chest...i was told this by someone who has experienced this injury due to bringing the bar down to his chest and he is an experienced body builder...he told me to treat it as if it was a regular DB shoulder press and keep your arms at 90 degrees when you bring the bar down (roughly around the chin/mouth area)
