Starting a new thread as the other one isn't the right spot... I had no idea Dept's do not chip dogs. Even our local news (which cld very well be wrong, hence me asking) said the major metro depts do NOT microchip their dogs. Do you chip them at your dept? If they are escape artists from the handlers, do you keep them? Red

I just bought a 2009 Santa Fe 3.3 AWD GL and I'm in the process of removing the auto start from my old car to put in the Santa Fe. The guy at Futureshop insists that I have a chip in the key of my new Santa Fe but if I remember correctly, the key was skinny which leads me to beleive that there is no chip. My new Santa Fe had to be ordered so I don't have it righ tnow to actually confirm....

i have just been on - sorry commercial businesses cannot be advertised here - and it amazes me as to how many of the dogs that have gone missing do not have microchips. surley for the cost of it it would stop alot of the heart ache for those people that have lost their beloved pets. is it not time that all of us should start a capagne to get people to chip their dogs so they can be reunited ...
