If you can trip upon one on craigslist or eBay, the Michelin AT2.0 works really well in the wet and mucky stuff. It's a fairly small section (2") but makes a good rear tire, with a little more clearance for packing up. It tends to not do that, and also seemed to grip well on NorCal roots and rocks.

I've rotated them once again. No problems with balancing issues. Tires are wearing well. I approximately 1/3 wear with 25,000 km's (16,000 miles).

I have been riding around with an LTX 285-75-16 AT2 in the back seat of my 1996 2500 CTD. I couldn't make it fit under the rear of the bed and I messed with it for an hour or so. Did all of you manage to get yours AT2s in that spare holder?

My LTXAT2's really did a good job during recent Elk hunt in Colorado and went thru a group of snow before i had to install chains but was amazed in how well they did before the chains went on! I have them on both my Toy trucks and the ones i were speakig about were on my 93 PU. It has 31x10.5x15's OEM for the 93 and they took on 2 foot of snow before chains were needed and this was on one lane ...

Tell me one thing seadragon, since you put on these tires do you see or feel your truck bed has more bounce than it did before? I have a 2007 DC 5.7ltr with the TRD package. Since I have installed these tires my truck bounces more when going over bumps and I can actually feel it in the drivers seat. Thanks for responding. Quote: Originally Posted by ...

I have noticed that some of my vehicles will pull with heavy grooving (interstate construction type grooves) more than others. I believe you are just experiencing that because of tire design. A smoother tread design like you GY's will be less likely to grab the grooves whereas your LTX's have more circumferencial grooves. The solution is to do a massive burnout until all 4 tires are bald.

Man, I totally agree on that. Well said, I know I will put the same thing on my wifes Jeep when her stockers wear off of it. I couldn't be happier with the tires on my truck so far. The only negative will be if they wear out fast. But with all the pro's to the tires, if they last to 40K I will be happy. Can't wait to get them in snow, but so far, during hunting they have ...
