m&p9 - forum post summary

On the M&P9

I love my Glock. G17, to be exact. I chose it because of it's reliability, simplicity and reputation. I love everything about it...aside from the grip. I love the ergonomics of the low axis etc, but I just can't love the feel of it in my hand. The biggest culprit is the backstrap. I like it, a lot...but I don't love it. I find myself having to adjust my grip after every few shots....

M&P9 Pro improvements

I didn't like a few things about my M&P Pro so, as usual, I got out a knife and a soldering iron...I think it works much better with the 10-8 aluminum base pads too....

I have a S&W M&P9 full size model for sale or trade. This model has the mag disconnect safety (so it does not have the warning on the side of the gun) and the internal safety. Burwell Gunsmithing has a nice "how to" to remove the mag disconnect.I had polished the barrel and the recoil rod asy.It has standard 3 dot sights. I have 4 17 round mags. This gun has 200 flawless rounds thru it. ...
