I run 35s and I have 4.10s but am plannin on going to 44s and 5.13s and Im not really looking into going to low on the gears because im still going to be driving this truck quite a bit. anyone know of a LS engine cam that actually delivers torque? everyone ive seen moves you powerband ...

It sounds great, but will it hurt my low end? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hdhz8dM64yk To remove this ad, register today or login if you already are registered!

I finally ran out of fuel and refilled the car with 94 octane and installed the 93 cai tune. What a huge difference compared to CAI + 89 "normal tune". To be honest I didn't think I would see much of a difference going from the 89 octane tune to the 93 octane tune. Not only do I notice a lot more low end torque but my fuel economy has also noticably increased by 3-4 mpg (according to ...

Hello all, hopefully it hasn't been asked before though I doubt that's the case, but looking at the general theme behind the common engine mods, it seems like they all work towards shifting the power band upward. Long tuber headers, higher duration cams, and minimizing exhaust backpressure and such all optimize the engine for high rpm performance. But from what I understand, even mild ...

I have had this 9th Gen Corolla since 06, presently done about 13K. Always used Toyota mineral based engine oil till now. Replaced stock intake in 07………no issues……no codes etc. Since I switched to fully Synthetic engine oil I feel the engine asking for the next gear at an earlier rpm. Previously I switched to 5th at about 65mph, now at ...

Those of you with a 2009 WRX at stage2, how have you tackled the problem of improving low end torque? (Yes, I realize it's only a 2.5L) Perhaps MBC, EWG, turbo blanket, wrapping header & DP ? * Registered users of the site do not see these ads.

Hi all. long time bmw guy and love my e90 m3. had it for 15 mos now and love it. when driving aggressive, the engine is phenominal. however i can never seem to drive the car "normal" since you need to rev the motor 4k+ since that's when it comes alive. driving 550i and 335i the other day, i have to admit, it was refreshing to have all that smooth power down low. yes, i know, its not...

The V6 with the auto tranny results in very low power and very poor low end torque. If you have a light foot and aren't in a hurry to get up a mountain you''ll love the combo. If you want some low end power a better choice might be a different vehicle. If you like the Jeep for the body and style then get the Jeep.
