My daughter has a small spot on her back and another on her forehead where her skin lightly scabbed for various reasons and now has some pigmentation loss (looks pink). For both I kept them moist and covered with bandages during the initial healing and now I am keeping them well conditioned with a lotion/vitamin E blend. Is there anything else I should be doing? Will the pigmentation return and ...

I was told by my ped. that lighter skin patches on the face (not scab-related) are just indications of sensitive skin--you might want to try switching to a different lotion/soap product, but it's nothing to worry about...
