I was told to use 515 on my case join. The local supplier only had 518 so I bought it. I cant see any difference in the descriptions apart from 518 having a higher temp and able to fill a larger gap. Any input on this one before I glue up my motor? cheers derek

Loctite 515 is indeed an anaerobic. And it is indeed ideally suited for this cam shaft carrier application. I have used it on all the kia carnival k5 variants of the 2.5L V6 petrol Kv6 I indeed can't advice for T specifically, but silicones generally suck for anything except transmission cases & flanges.... Hylomar stuff is good.
