Hi All We would like to do the Lares trek and have booked to stay at the Loki Hotel in Cusco in January 2010. We can book the Lares Trek through the Loki Hostel and they said the trek operator is Etnikas Travel Centre. I cant see any reviews about this trek operator on this forum. Has anyone any experience with going on treks with Etnikas Travel Centre ? ...

Never heard of them. As you said try and better use one of the more (often) recommended trek operators (llamapath, qente, pmexplorers, etc).

It depends on how you define warm and cold. Yes, you will be at altitude and in a mountainous region, and you are at the edge of the rain forest too, so you have to be prepared for all kinds of eventualities.
