This was my experience with this gun, from what I've read it doesn't seem to be typical of Kimber... The Kimber TLE II is really a stunning firearm. From the night sights to the black finish, lightweight hammer, that combined with the sheer weight of an upgraded traditional 1911 style .45 makes for awe inspiring when opening the case and removing it from the plastic for the first time....

Hey guys, well, I've had 1911's apart before, but never to the point that I had today. I took apart a Kimber TLE II that I just bought, all the way down to the last part. AND I put it together with relativly little difficulty pat on the back for me haha. In the past I've put the sear in backwards, couldn't figure how to get the mag release and trigger out... and a few other things. Only ...

I traded optics for this in March 09. Never fired it (I'm the 3rd owner, prior owner put 150 rnds through it). Just not a pistol guy... Pictures are from prior owners ad. Only blemish is nicks in the front strap where someone shot it with their wedding ring on. Comes with factory case, papers and 3 Kimber magazines. Prefer FTF in the east bay. is there a replacement? I'd like to give that a go versus using the standard barrel with a bushing. any recommendations? Also, will it be a drop in config or would it require gunsmithing? thx in advance!
