No automatic fix or other information.   I had it installed and working in Windows 7 32bit with no problems.   Does anyone have any ideas?   Mike

Whenever I open/place/export a file the window that pops up to choose the file, all the columns are smashed together and you can only see the folder you have to manually drag the column open to see the names. Any one know how to fix this? I already trashed the preferences and restarted to no avail. Help it is driving me crazy.

A friend recently retired and gave me a copy of his CS2. Although I have no professional knowledge, training or interests this field, I have a great amateur enthusiasm for typefaces and taken on the challenge of teaching myself Indesign at the tender age of 66 (perhaps the first signs of insanity?). So far, so good!  My question is: Can Adobe fonts be made available to Fontbook in Mac OSX ...

Hi, I placed a logo that was done in Illustrator (and also saved as EPS) into my InDesign document. The logo has a transparent background -- I checked it in Illustrator (Document Setup and also Transparency Grid). However, when I place the logo on a color background in the InDesign document, the rectangle that contains the logo has no background (is transparent), but the area around the logo ...

We have created a pdf from an Excel document using 'print' and adobe pdf as the printer. We have then placed it into an Indesign CS2 file. When the document is printed the pages with the pdf files placed  will not print, it prints out an error page and stops printing the document Answer Hi Heide, The first thing that comes to mind here is, are the fonts embedded in the pdf from Excel? ...

So I went to my school's library to work on an indesign document. The computers in there use CS3. Then I went back to my class room (the student news paper) and was unable to open the documents using CS2 (this is only the tip of the iceberg of the inconsistency with computers at the school). It says it's missing plug-ins and other things. I was rather annoyed considering the ONLY things...

Hi   For what it is worth if anyone else is having problems finding drivers for their scanner to work in 64 Bit Windows I found a program that you can download Called Vue Scan that will pretty much run any scanner.   http://www.hamrick.com/   I downloaded the free trial and it saw my scanner and ran it with no problems, I'm going to try it out and if it works as well as it seems to ...
