I have seen more than a few posts. I am fairly computer literate. I have been trying to help my friends resolve their outgoing mail issues. Mobile me works fine. Other ISP's not so good. I Set up an imap mail account in TB. IT worked perfectly. All my folders were there. This morning the only folder there was the account name. I got the in box and sent box back. I cant get spam,trash,archived etc. back. Any ideas ?

Just upgraded from 5.0.19 to 6.0.4. One surprise that didn't get noticed while testing. POPped mail got moved from the specified folderId according to a filter rule. Is this intentional? I thought that POP polling was broken, because I got nothing in my POP account folder, then I stumbled across the POPped mail in my "not To or Cc me" folder. Code: zimbraDataSourceHost: pop.gmail....

I found that my Yahoo Classic email account had 30,000 email messages. There can be 200 copies of the same message sent from my Droid phone. Recipients say they are only receiving one copy. From reading other forums, I believe that every time the Droid checks for new email, another copy of the last email is added to sent file. Verizon told me it's a Verizon problem. Hi! I've a problem when deleting an imap-account, the locally cached (synchronized) mail won't get deleted? Is there a way to remove the cached files from the deleted accounts without doing that manually by deleting the folders in harddrive?

G'day. I use IMAP on a Macbook, through Mac Mail to get my mail from a (2003) MS EXCHANGE Server and the same thing onto my iPhone. For some reason, older mail messages that are in the inbox on the MAc show up, but they stop showing up on the iPhone after a period of time. Been like this for ages. Anyone else seen this or know a fix to get them ...

Hello, I have GMX, which has the two protocols : POP3 and IMAP4. When I entered the settings, they found only the POP3 ones. When I go into my account settings, they say my account is in POP whereas I tried to set it as an IMAP. => Any solution for my problem ? Thanks in advance for your help

My .Mac account is currently set up as a POP account. As I get my mail from two or three computers I'd like to switch to an IMAP account. How can I do this while keeping my saved mail from the POP account? Is this a matter of simply de authorizing the POP account and creating a new IMAP account? Thanks, BIll (using Snow Leopard)
