We stayed at the Bahia Principe Tulum some years ago and enjoyed very much seeing all the iguanas in the hotel grounds. They were however threatened by the local cats. Has anybody seen iguanas on a recent visit to this hotel?

e have two green iguanas one we have had since he was a hatchling he has always been ingood health and eaten wellhe is approxmately 13years lately he seems stiff in his movemennts and grumpy hissing and showing his mouth(out of character)he has the last two inches of his tail which seems to have died and a large kink appeared half way down could you shed any light on this as i would hate to think...

In the very short term, I would advice any visitor not to have their photos taken with any of these animals, or with the poor creatures who are held captive by them.
