We will be spending a week at the Domaine Faverot in Maubec in May. We'll arrive in Paris on Friday morning, and then check into our flat on Saturday afternoon. We will pick up a car in Paris, and would like to stay somewhere about half way or so. We'll be two couples, and are looking for a nice B&B or hotel with character for the night. As we will have been flying all night, we're ...

She's always traveling somewhere, and last night (December 16) Rihanna was spotted out and about in Paris, France. The "Russian Roulette" songstress looked a bit worn out as she made her exit from the Hyatt hotel in the City of Lights

I think it is final,.... my 18 YO daughter and I are going to Paris for her Spring Break/graduation present. We have loads of Marriott miles since DH and I travel for work. My first inclination would be to stay on the Champs Elysees since it is so lavish looking (?) from the website , but from the little bit of research I have started, I know it is in a very hustle bustle obviuouls ...

I booked a fancy hotel in Paris via lastminute.com a few days ago. Now I can't/won't go, due to a combination of eurostar looking flakey and my girlfriend cheating on me (romance is not in my current radar). I prepaid 220 quid for 2 nights at the 'hotel du jardin marais' and am struggling to get my money back. The bank can't help as I paid with a debit card and lastminute.com are refusing ...

Hello... I have spent many hours researching hotels for my trip to Paris in February. I have heard some horror stories of hotels using fake photos on the web as well as dubious reviews. Just when I find a hotel that sounds good, i will read a review that says "this hotel was the worst hotel we ever stayed with and ruined our trip to paris !!" Another huge fear is that the ...

Thanks to all. It's settled, I believe. We will take train directly from CDG to Avignon, overnight there and pick up the rental car the next morning. My husband, the driver, is relieved! As I understand it, I can book train tickets 90 days in advance....so I'll start looking for tickets in February. Now, one last question. In the past, we have stayed ...

Check out the Mercure hotel just above the big parking lot for the Palais des Papes. It's in an excellent location; easy walking distance to most of the major sights, cafés, and restaurants. I suspect you can rent a car at the hotel.
