We have a reservation at the Cua Dai Hotel in Hoi An early Nov and were concerned whether they had been affected due to recent weather. We have been trying to contact them since the storms hit. Have just heard back from them that they "were not closed due to the storms and that Hoi An was back to normal the second day after the storms" Hope this helps anyone who has been ...

I saw a few people were looking for contact info for the Cau Dai Hotel. In Hue I have stayed in November in Saigon Morin Hotel, a historic hotel, and I really can recommend it for it's service, location (near to the Citadel) and it's atmosphere. It has a very nice court with pool and restaurant, the kitchen is excellent. On the way to your room you will see a wunderful collection of photos of the old days in Hue. Thanks we are booked in also 2nd week of November. Mr. Phuoc did report about a week ago that the hotel was closed and supposedly due to open last weekend? The general reports seem to say Hoi An will be back to normal by early November.

One last update - My booking confirmation has just come through. Thuy May ended up getting us a better deal. $86 US/night. Yay extra money towards a massage :)

A good hotel hould find you something as good or better- their reputation is also on the line. Twice we stayed in places that had to find us an alternate due to not having a room available when we needed one and the alternates they found were fine.

this hotel looked good but it is booked out when we want to go next year. Most of them in town near by are. so now we have to go half way, maybe at the ancient hotel, di you see this one? if so is it close to shopping and restaurants? thanks
