Hotspot Shield seems more appropriate when surfing at a hot spot where there is no protection. Do google for reviews. Check to see if Macworld reviewed it.  MacBook Pro 2.8 Ghz 15" / 4 Gb Ram Mac OS X (10.5.8)...
