I notice there's a trend for using an iPod as the source for one's Hi-Fi system, so I though I'd look around for a decent pair of speakers for a second, iPod-based system for the conservatory at home. There's certainly a huge choice available, but I've narrowed it down to THESE CANDIDATES.

I am just totally blown away by these cables. I've had these playing in my system for about 4 days now and have less that 100 hours on them. They, the Engineers at A+ say they sound good out of the box but it take 300 hours to fully break them in. I'm now wondering how much better they can sound. I purchased these cables not ever hearing them but I did read the online reviews from audiophiles ...

Hi folks! does anyone still own and use there hi-fi from the 90s or before? i still use my kenwood hi-fi seperates which at the time cost £500, just cant part with it and the sound is great! i loved having a graphic equalizer not common on many hi-fi's now . Infact my sis still has her jvc adagio! hi-fi? remember that one with the moving speakers!

The Hi Fi is slightly used (very slightly) and has better componentry and perhaps better geometry. The 6.5 has lower components but is new and 2 years newer model. Any suggestions?

I'm not keen on Class D, but then I dont like anything that adds to (or takes from) the original sound, and Class D, is basically pulse width modulation. ideal for some purposes, but not (IMHO) for audio. The lower power requirement is a plus, for the manufacturers, but makes little difference to the user.
