Haro mary ss vs. raleigh xxix vs. origin 8 scout

Im looking at buying a cheap, rigid single speed 29er, and have narrowed it down to 3. I know there are other options that are just as good or better (kona unit, fisher rig, redline monocog flight, etc.) but I can get great deals on the haro, the raleigh, and the origin 8 through a friend of mine. So my question for you guys is: which one should I buy, and why?

Please Advise: Should I buy this Haro Mary SS?

Bottom line, I want a full rigid Haro Mary 1x9. To this end, I can buy a Mary XC and and remove a few rings, a derailleur up front and decide of the fork. Or I can buy a Mary SS and add gears (or so I think). My dilemma comes to the point of decision, as a brand spanking new Haro Mary SS (baby blue) in my size, 20", is selling right now on eBay for $599. My plan is to purchase this ...

Uneven pad wear (185mm rotor and adapter Haro Mary SS)?

I recently installed a 185mm adapter and rotor on the stock rigid fork. It seems to work ok for a bit, but when I check the pads they are wearing unevenly. The pads are wearing towards the front and a lip forms towards the back of the pad. It appears the rotor isn't far enough back in the caliper. I am running Avid Juicy 7's with 185 mm cleansweep G3 rotors and a 185mm avid rotor adapter. ...

As title says, Can you put rear pannier racks on Haro Mary SS? If so can anyone point me to picks or retailers products? I bought the Mary as a commuter but then realized it doesn't have pannier hole things??? Thanks in advance

Wayne rocks. I bought both of my bikes from him. He offeres to let me borrow one of those fujis for a weekend to trail ride before buying, but I had him order a Haro Mary SS for me, and its the funnest bike I have ever ridden.
